“each Thursday at 12am” is an interactive website that shows digital art works undergoing a perpetual transformation process. 

 

The fashion designers Guusje de Bruin and Sarah Kerbosch as well as the three artists of the performance collective Merle | Mischke | Klee have engaged with transformative processes for their Flausen + research residency. Each participant created a digital artwork on the subject of transformation. In a predetermined order they forwarded each other these videos, photos, GIFs or audio files. Each artist continued the process by intuitively editing, translating, transforming, expanding or cutting up these works. Weekly on Thursday’s at 12am, the transformed works were forwarded to each other. For several weeks, these original files have undergone numerous surprising, humorous, and often moving, transformations.

 

The artists, together with the design studio Liebermann Kiepe Reddemann, developed an interactive website. On this website visitors can re-experience the individual transformation steps and even react to the artworks themselves.
